A
Treatment Center Committed to Excellence
Our addiction treatment
center’s Gold Seal of Approval from
the Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations (JCAHO) is a reflection of the pride we take in our
alcohol abuse treatment
and drug rehabilitation program. The rigorous
accreditation process is voluntary, and those
drug rehab centers who attain accreditation
demonstrate an outstanding commitment to
quality.
The JCAHO is dedicated to continuously improving
the safety and quality of the nation's health
care through voluntary accreditation. The
Gold Seal of Approval signifies that Transitions
Recovery has met the JCAHO’s national
standards for health care quality and safety:
"In becoming accredited, Transitions
Recovery was evaluated against a set of national
standards by a Joint Commission surveyor
experienced in the delivery of behavioral
health care services," says Mary Cesare-Murphy,
Ph.D., executive director, Behavioral Health
Care Accreditation Program, Joint Commission. "Achieving
accreditation demonstrates Transitions
Recovery’s
commitment to provide high and safe quality
care."
Transitions Recovery makes a significant
investment in quality on a day-to-day basis.
We sought accreditation for our drug rehab
center because we view obtaining Joint Commission
accreditation as another step toward excellence
as a comprehensive addiction treatment center.
